This was my daily driver, Sunshine. Here are the pages from this bus when I owned it in the present tense. I did however sell this bus in 2005. Here are two links to all of the pics I took of Sunshine when I was selling the bus.

It's in really nice shape. It's not perfect...but is very nice on the inside and has a brand new paint job, including all new window seals and a new windshield. A new pop top canvas and seals were installed and the pop top was painted when I bought it, but I sold the pop top and installed a new Riviera high top. Here is a quick link to some of the things I have done to this bus so far: Updates. Below are some pics of Sunshine a few months after I got her. Follow the links at the top or bottom of the pages to see all I have done and what she looks like now.

The best part about this bus is the interior. It is still very clean and original. No chips on the cabinetry or water stains. Has all the original curtains, including the windshield curtain and I found some more original curtains for the hightop. The camper came with the rear table and the rare breakfast table that hooks to the dash. The plaid fabric was in pretty good shape too, and I recovered the front seats. There is a new carpet section that looks good and the floor was Rhino lined and a new sub floor added. The dash is not cracked and it has the factory a/c too (although not working at the time...like most buses). Because it is a deluxe it has the propane stove, westy propane tank and stock fire extenguisher. The electric sink works good too. Oh, did I mention the bus is an Automatic!!

Another neat thing about the bus is that it came with a lot of the original dealer info. Has both the owner's manual and Westy manual. It also came with the stove, a/c and propane tank instructions. (Literature) Here are some pics before I recovered the seats and added a padded steering wheel.

I have to thank Karen for sacrificing her entire weekend to help me get the bus. It was an 8 hour drive in the car and a lot longer return trip in the bus. We drove from Charlotte to Valdosta, GA (near the FL/GA border) leaving Saturday morning and arriving at 6 that evening...a 440 mile drive. We spent a couple hours going over the bus and working a deal. We decided to head back towards Charlotte that night so the drive Sunday wouldn't be so long. We drove til midnight trying to find a place to spend the night. It was raining very hard and really was a good test for the bus and a nervous driver. We just wanted to get to the coast and stop driving!! We finally found a place on the beach to camp...Jekyll Island.
